• Bedside Visit: If you are confined to a hospital intensive care unit following a covered life-threatening injury or illness, the plan covers the cost of an economy round-trip ticket for one relative to visit you.

   

• Acute Onset of Pre-Existing Conditions: For travelers under age 80, the plan may cover a sudden and unexpected outbreak of a pre-existing condition that requires urgent care within 24 hours of the outbreak.

   

• Hospital Indemnity: This benefit pays $100 for each night you spend in the hospital as an inpatient.

• Supplier Financial Default: If your cruise line, airline, or tour operator ceases all operations due to financial condition, you may be covered if the policy was purchased within 14 days of your first trip deposit.

   

• Missed Connection: If a carrier delay or a local public transportation delay (like a taxi or city bus) causes you to miss your cruise departure, Allianz helps pay for reasonable transportation to help you rejoin your trip.
